2. PREAMBLE
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between any non-professional individual Client and the Hotel Gil de France, operated by SAS REMAVI, regarding booking, stay, and related services.

Confirming a booking constitutes full and complete acceptance of these Terms, which are accessible at any time on the hotel’s website. Any contrary condition issued by the Client will be unenforceable against the hotel.

 
3. BOOKING3.1 Booking Methods

Bookings can be made:

- Online at www.gildefrance.fr

A confirmation email is sent to the Client with the essential booking details (room type, duration, rate, selected services, applicable conditions).

Booking & Payment: Depending on the selected rate, prepayment may be required. "Non-refundable" offers cannot be modified, canceled, or refunded. A credit card may be requested as a guarantee, with payment due upon arrival.
3.2 Contract Formation
The contract is deemed concluded once a booking number has been assigned to the Client by the Provider and communicated via any means (phone, email, letter, etc.).
4. PRICES AND PAYMENT TERMS
Prices are indicated including VAT, in euros, excluding tourist tax (€2.30/day/adult).

Several rate options are available:
- Non-refundable / Non-modifiable (100% prepayment upon booking)
- Flexible (pay at the hotel, free cancellation up to 48h before arrival)

Payment may be requested online or at the hotel. Extras (bar, sauna, massages, etc.) must be paid separately.

The hotel may request a security deposit or a credit card imprint upon arrival.

- For flexible rates: No prepayment is required at the time of booking. A credit card number is required to validate the reservation, but it will not be charged. Payment is made directly at the hotel upon arrival.

- For non-prepaid rates: The hotel may request a security deposit or authorization to debit the card to cover on-site expenses.

- Extras: Any extras not included in the rate must be paid at the end of the stay. Otherwise, the Client expressly authorizes the Provider to charge the credit card provided as a guarantee.

5. CANCELLATION POLICY

In case of unavailability due to force majeure, the hotel will rebook the Client in an equivalent establishment at no extra charge.

COVID INSURANCE 
For all non-refundable bookings, our Safebooking insurance can be subscribed to cover personal consequences related to the epidemic. Book with peace of mind by subscribing during your reservation at www.gildefrance.fr.
6. ARRIVAL, DEPARTURE & HOUSE RULES
Check-in: from 3:00 p.m. 
Check-out: before 12:00 p.m. (unless otherwise agreed) 
Reception open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and 24/7 from June 15 to September 15

The hotel is under video surveillance. Any inappropriate, noisy or disrespectful behavior may result in immediate exclusion without refund.

Any damage will be charged. Smoking is strictly prohibited and may result in a penalty (up to the price of a night).
7. RESPONSIBILITIES
7.1 Client Responsibility:
- Information accuracy at booking
- Use of services (Wi-Fi, room, etc.)
- Any damage or inappropriate behavior

7.2 Hotel Responsibility:
- Proper performance of services (except in cases of force majeure)
- Security of collected personal data

No liability for:
- Internet malfunctions
- Minor differences in photos or descriptions
- Acts of third parties or unforeseen events

   - Immediate discount of 7% to 10% depending on your status (Explorer, Traveler, Collector, Globe-Trotter),
   - Cashback of 7% to 10%, credited to your account and usable from €50 accumulated.
• Status levels evolve based on your total annual spend.

10. COOKIES

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The website and its contents (texts, images, videos, etc.) are the exclusive property of SAS REMAVI. Any reproduction or use without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.
12. FORCE MAJEURE
If service execution is prevented by an external, unforeseeable, and irresistible event (e.g., pandemic, natural disaster), neither party can be held liable.
13. COMPLAINTS
Any complaint must be addressed by email or post within 15 days after the stay:

15. PRECONTRACTUAL INFORMATION
The Client acknowledges having received, prior to confirming the reservation, clear and understandable information regarding:

- Essential features of the services
- Price, additional fees, and payment terms
- Execution timeframes
- Applicable law, dispute resolution, and waiver of withdrawal rights (Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code)
16. BOOKINGS VIA PARTNER PLATFORMS
For bookings made via partner platforms (Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Smartbox, Wonderbox, etc.), the terms and conditions of the respective platforms apply.

Parking is charged at €10 per day. No discount, loyalty benefit, or special hotel offer can be applied.
17. ON-SITE SERVICES

🧖 Private sauna – by reservation (30 minutes) 
💆 Wellness massages – by reservation (€40 to €145) 
🥐 Breakfast – served 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on weekdays; 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on weekends 
🍽️ Restaurant – open Monday to Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Menu €24)
